I have many different types of beads and had a hard time trying to store them I came up with an idea... I use a spice rack with the clear bottles. this works to keep beads organized and visible. I also think it looks great on the wall in my bead corner. I find myself looking (and finding) for spice racks at garage sales, second hand stores, etc. to keep the price down.

"Halloween Treat Pot"

Take any size clay pot with saucer and paint them both orange using acrylic paint.  Decorate the pot and saucer with green paint.  Cut a sponge into a small square and stamp the green right on! Try creating a checker design by repeating the squares.

Next, paint a pumpkin face on the clay pot.  To complete your Treat Pot, you place the saucer on top of the pot like a lid and glue a large wooden ball painted green for the handle put in some treats! You could tie the top and bottom with jute and you have a wonderful decoration!

Don't have a clay pot?  Why not use baby food jars?  They will paint up nice and you can cover the lid with material and have a mini pumpkin treat!

Positive - Negative Pumpkin!
For this project you need the following:
    • large piece of black construction paper           • scissors, pencil
    • half a piece of orange construction paper        • glue

TIP:  DO NOT glue anything down until you have completed Step 4!

Step 1:  Begin by placing the orange construction paper on the left side of your black paper and very lightly drawing half a jack 'o lantern design.

Step 2:  Cut out the outside of your pumpkin and flip the extra (or negative) onto the black.

Step 3:  Cut out the mouth design from the orange pumpkin half and flip it onto the black paper.

Step 4:  Cut out your eye shape and flip it onto the black paper (shown at the top).  You can also put a nose on your pumpkin!

Step 5:  Carefully glue everything down and hang up your pumpkin decoration!
