Polished
Jasper Necklace
This necklace is very bold in shades of gold
and black. The Swarovski crystals are a sharp contrast to the polished
jasper gemstone rectangles.

Step 1:
Add eye pins to 11 Jasper bars. Add head pin to 1 Jasper bar. Add a
head pin to one 5mm Topaz Crystal. Make 13 eye pins which have one 3mm
Jet Crystal, one 5mm Topaz Crystal, and one 3mm Jet Crystal. Using a flat
nose pliers, bend the straight end of the pin 90°. Using wire cutters,
cut off the excess pin wire, leaving approximately 3/16". Using a round
nose pliers, bend the 3/16" piece of wire into a loop, but DO NOT close
the loop.
Step 2:
Take the one Topaz on a head pin and add a jump ring, now close the
loop tightly. Open the jump ring and add a second jump ring, close the
jump ring tightly. Continue to add jump rings in this matter until you
have a chain of 10. On the closed tenth jump ring add an eye pin which
has the Jet/Topaz/Jet Crystals (from step one) via the open end of the
eye pin, close the eye pin loop. Add a Jasper eye pin (from step one) via
its open loop and close the loop tightly. Continue to alternate between
Crystals and Jasper eye pins until you have 6 Crystals and 5 Jaspers linked.
Now add a jump ring between the existing Crystal eye pin and a additional
Jasper eye pin. Next add a Crystal eye pin and lastly add a Jasper head
pin. You have now completed the right side of the necklace and the pendent.
To make the left side of this necklace backtrack two Jasper rectangles
to the jump ring and add a Crystal eye pin to that jump ring. Now add a
Jasper eye pin to the Crystal and so on until you have 6 Crystals and 5
Jaspers linked together. On the last Crystal eye pin add a jump ring and
a Lobster Claw Clasp.
