Blowing Leaves Candle Holders
Fun and easy to make, these candle holders look pretty even when they're not lit!

Materials:
2 Votive Candle Holders available from any craft/home store.  Look for votive holders with a lip at the top instead of a straight up and down cup.  This makes it easier to attach your wire.

1 pkg.  SL Gold 6/0 Pony Beads (#17213) Qty:

Directions:
Step 1:  Make sections out of wire as illustrated in Image A.  Start by cutting a piece of wire 6-8" long.  Twist one end to make a spiral using a flat or round nose pliers.  Randomly add pony and leaf beads onto the wire and bend and twist as you go.  Make about 10 sections to start, although you'll need more later.

Step 2:  Take a piece of wire at least 6" longer than the opening of your votive cup.  String a few beads on the wire and twist it around the top (like you would a twist tie on a bag), under the lip of the votive cup.

Step 3:  Use the pieces hanging down to loop through your wire sections made in step 1.

Step 4:  Cut small pieces of wire (about 1") and use them (again like twist ties) to attach more and more sections going around the cup.  Don't worry if they are "flopping around" right now.  Just keep adding sections until the glass is about covered.  Make more sections when you need them.

Step 5:  Cut a piece of wire about 8".  Attach that wire somewhere near the bottom of your wire sections and weave this wire through loose sections.  Pull this tight and it will get all your wire sections snug against the glass.
