IDEA: Asymmetrical Cobalt Necklace

Asymmetrical Cobalt Necklace This necklace is made with two strands of silver and blue beads with a stylish asymmetrical design.

Materials:
1 pkg. Large Capri and Cobalt Two Tone Ovals (#18835) Qty:
1 pkg. Indicolite Swarovski Crystal (#16590) Qty:
3 pkgs. Cobalt Blue Rounds (#22024) Qty:
3 pkgs. Silver Plated Melon Beads (#14070) Qty:
1 pkg. Silver Plated Lobster clasp (#50138) Qty:
1 pkg. Silver Plated Jump Ring (#50040) Qty:
1 pkg. Silver Plated Crimps (#50046) Qty:
1 spool SoftFlex (#49106) Qty:

Directions:
Step 1 -
Cut two 28" pieces of Soft Flex wire. Thread one crimp bead on one piece of SoftFlex, then through the clasp, make a loop by going back through your crimp bead. Pull your SoftFlex tight, but leave a little bit of a loop so the clasp can move freely. Next, using a crimping pliers or flat nose pliers, crimp or crush your crimp bead. Pull the SoftFlex to make sure your crimp is tight and then cut off the excess SoftFlex OR leave the tail and hide it under the first few beads you string. Repeat this step with the other piece of Soft Flex.

Step 2 -
String one strand with the following:
1 Melon, 1 Cobalt Round, 1 Melon, 1 Crystal, repeat 1 time
1 Melon, 1 Cobalt Round,
1 Melon, 1 Capri/Cobalt Oval, repeat 2 times
1 Melon, 1 Crystal, 1 Melon, 1 Cobalt Round, repeat 5 times
1 Melon, 1 Crystal, 1 Melon
Add a Bead Stopper or place of tape to secure the beads.

Step 3 -
String the second strand with the following:
1 Melon, 1 Cobalt Round, repeat 4 times
1 Melon
string through first strand's Capri/Cobalt Oval, Melon, Capri/Cobalt Oval, Melon, Capri/Cobalt Oval
1 Melon, 1 Cobalt Round, repeat 12 times
1 Melon

Step 4 -
Add one crimp bead onto the second strand, then through the jump ring, make a loop by going back through your crimp bead, and pull your SoftFlex tight. Next, using a crimping pliers or flat nose pliers, crimp or crush your crimp bead. Pull the SoftFlex to make sure your crimp is tight and then cut off the excess SoftFlex OR hide it under the last few beads. Repeat this step with the first strand after removing the Bead Stopper or tape.

Finished length is approximately 24 inches. Enjoy!
