 Cobalt
Twist Necklace
This necklace has two twisted strands of
seed beads, pebble beads, and Keith O'Conner's ceramic beads. This
classy necklace is a breeze to make. We highly recommend using Bead
Stoppers during the twisting of the strands and have added them to the
materials list below.

Directions:
Step 1 -
Cut two 22" pieces of Softflex. String one strand of Soft-Flex through
a crimp bead, make a loop through the ring clasp, back through the crimp
bead, pull the loop tightly, and crush the crimp bead. Repeat with
the second strand on the same ring clasp.
Step 2 -
String one strand with the following:
45 Seed Beads
1 Pebble
10 Seed Beads
Repeat 10 times
1 Pebble
45 Seed Beads
Add a bead stopper or tape the end.
Step 3 -
String the other strand with the following:
67 Seed Beads
1 Pebble
1 Cobalt Round
1 Pebble
15 Seed Beads
Repeat 2 times
1 Pebble
1 Cobalt Round
1 Pebble
67 Seed Beads
Add a bead stopper or tape the end.
Step 4 -
Take one strand and turn the bead stopper or taped end counter clockwise
ten full turns. You will be turning the stopper/tape/wire, not the
beads, set the stopper on the table or tape the strand into the table.
Now repeat with the second strand. Now hold both strands together
and twist them clockwise onto and around each other for about ten full
twists. Hold onto the ends, tape or add bead stopper, do not let
the strands untwist.
Step 5 -
Add one crimp bead to one strand, make a loop through the bar end clasp,
back through the crimp bead, pull the loop tightly, and crush the crimp
bead. Repeat this step on the second strand. Enjoy!
