Directions:
Step 1:Cut
24 inches of Beadalon. String a crimp bead and a toggle on
to the Beadalon and double back through the crimp bead. Snug up the
crimp bead to the toggle and crush the crimp bead. Cut off excess
stringing material.
Step 2: String
a silver spacer bead, an oval, a silver spacer bead and 5 crystals, repeat
this sequence twice more, then string an AB leaf, a silver spacer bead,
an oval, a silver spacer bead, another leaf. Then string 10 crystals, a
leaf, a silver spacer bead, an oval and a jump ring.
Step 3: Thread
the Beadalon back through the last oval. You have one side already
done.
Step 4: Repeat
the same sequence of beads for the other side beginning with the silver
spacer bead, an AB leaf and 10 crystals until you come to the crimp bead
and the other end of the clasp. Double back with the Beadalon through
the crimp bead and crush the crimp bead. Cut off excess Beadalon.
Step 5: To
finish it up, make the dangle by threading on a head pin a flat heishi
and an AB leaf and using a wire cutter, cut off the excess head pin leaving
approximately 3/16". Using flat nose pliers, bend the 3/16" piece of wire
90°. Using a round nose pliers bend the 3/16" piece of wire into a
loop, and close it but not tightly.
Step 6: Attach it to the jump ring already on
the necklace and then close the loop tightly. Your Emerald
necklace is complete. Enjoy!
