Baubles and Lace Necklace  Beautiful hues of cobalt and teal dispersed throughout this lacy creation will take you to a tropical place.  This necklace is so different and fun to make and it is easy, too!  We have used our beautiful beaded beads from India together with some crystals, spacer beads, and metal beads, all strung on our silver mesh.  We think the result is lovely.

Directions:
Step 1:  Twist one end of the mesh to make it as thin as possible.  String a bead cap, a cobalt beaded bead, and another bead cap.  The hollow part of the bead cap should face the bead.

Step 2:  Find the center of the mesh and place the bead cap, bead, bead cap combination in the center. Tie a knot after the bead cap on either side.  You do not need to tighten the knot.

Step 3:  Fan out the mesh by gently pulling on either side of the mesh (see picture).

Step 4:  Tie a knot after the fan and string a teal spacer bead, a cobalt spacer bead, a crystal, a cobalt spacer bead and a teal spacer bead.  Tie a knot and fan the mesh.

Step 5:  Tie a knot and string a celestial bead, tie a knot and fan the mesh.

Step 6:  Repeat Step 4.

Step 7:  Tie a knot and string a bead cap, a cobalt beaded bead and a bead cap.

Step 8:  Tie a knot and leaving the mesh tightly woven, thread a crimp hook.  Place it at desired length and crimp the center to the mesh.  Trim off excess mesh.

Step 9:  Repeat Steps 3 to 8 using the crimp eye. Enjoy!
