June's Gems Necklace Two of the birthstones for June are
Pearls and Alexandrite (blue in fluorescent light, purple in incandescent
light), so we thought why not combine the two to make this very pretty
three strand necklace. We have used our White Button Top Drilled
Pearls along with our 4mm Alexandrite Swarovski Bicone Crystals, strung
with silver lined seed beads to create this piece. The clasp is our
Sterling Silver Locking Three Loop Toggle.

Helpful Hint: Count out your seed beads
and then "pick up" the seed beads with your Beadalon.
Step 1: Cut 3 strands
of Beadalon. One 18 inches, one 20 inches, and one 22 inches long.
Step 2: String the
18 inch strand of Beadalon through one crimp bead then through the inner
loop of your toggle then back through the crimp bead. Snug up the
crimp bead to the toggle and crush the crimp bead and trim the excess.
Step 3: String 50
seed beads, 1 pearl, 20 seed beads, 1 heishi, 1 crystal, 1 heishi, and
20 seed beads. Repeat this pattern 4 times. String 1 pearl
and 50 seed beads.
Step 4: String Beadalon
through one crimp bead, then through the inner loop of the other part of
your toggle, then back through the crimp bead. Snug up the crimp
bead to the toggle and crush the crimp bead. Trim off excess.
Step 5: Repeat Step
2, using the 20 inch strand of Beadalon onto the middle loop of the toggle.
Step 6: String 55
seed beads, 1 heishi, 1 crystal, 1 heishi, 17 seed beads, 1 pearl, and
17 seed beads. Repeat this pattern 5 more times. String 1 heishi,
1 crystal, 1 heishi and then 55 seed beads.
Step 7: Repeat Step
4 using the middle loop of the toggle.
Step 8: Repeat Step
2, using the outer loop of the toggle.
Step 9: String 55
Seed beads, 1 pearl, 20 seed beads, 1 heishi, 1 crystal, 1 heishi, and
20 seed beads. Repeat this pattern 5 more times. String 1 pearl
and then 55 seed beads.
Step 10: Repeat Step 4 using
the outer loop of the toggle.
