Directions:
Cut 5 pieces of Genya, 25 inches each.
Step 1: With
all 5 strands of Genya held together evenly at on end, measure 2 inches
and tie a knot using all 5 strands. On each piece of Genya, string a
Crimp Bead and then string the Genya back through the Crimp Bead.
Crush each Crimp Bead, but stagger the crimps so that each strand has a
crimp in a different place, creating different size loops. The longest
loop should be no more than 1 inch.
Step 2: String 1 Pony
Bead on each strand. Measure 2 1/2 inches and tie another knot in
all 5 strands. The Pony Beads should "float" in the strands.
Step 3: String 2 Pony
Beads on each strand, bunch them all together and tie a knot.
Step 4: Repeat
Steps 2 and 3, respectively 2 more times.
Step 5: Repeat Step
2.
Step 6: On each piece
of Genya, string a Crimp Bead and then string the Genya back through the
Crimp Bead. Crush each crimp bead, but stagger the crimps so that
each strand has a crimp in a different place, creating different size loops.
The longest loop should be no more than 1 inch.
Step 7: Cut two 1
inch pieces of Genya. Thread a piece through the loops of Genya at
one end of the necklace and through the large hole in one of the Drop Charms.
Place a Crimp Bead over the two ends of Genya and crush the Crimp Bead.
Cut off the excess. Repeat at the other end of the necklace.
Step 8: Twist open
a Jump Ring and place it through the small loop of the Drop Charm and through
the small loop of the Spring Ring Clasp. Twist closed.
Step 9: Twist open
the Jump Ring that is part of the Clasp and place it through the small
loop of the Drop Charm at the other end of the necklace. Twist closed.
Enjoy!
