Gem Crocheted Bracelet This is a fun and different bracelet idea
that will teach you the basic steps to making a crocheted bracelet, which
is one of the hottest trends right now. We used our Fluorite gemstone
beads along with our silver plated hogan beads for accent, but you can
use any beads you would like. This is truly a versatile idea.
Our finished length is 7 ½ inches.
Materials: 2 Pkgs. Fluorite Gemstone Beads, 6mm

to 1 if you need them): Size #6 Crochet Hook (#51071)

Directions: You will be working from the Spool and cutting
the Wire once you are finished.
Step 1.
Place the beads onto the wire, alternating the Fluorite and the Hogans.
For our bracelet length we used 14 Fluorite Beads and 13 Hogans. Check
to see if this length will fit. If not you will need to add Beads
at this point.
Step 2.
Make a slip knot, leaving a 6 inch tail.
Step 3.
Tighten the slipknot around the Crochet Hook, but leave a little slack.
Step 4.
Hold the slipknot between your thumb and middle finger of one hand. Now
bring a Fluorite Bead down to the Hook. Wrap the Hook around the
back of the wire with your other hand and pull it through the slipknot.
The wire will naturally fall around the bead.
Step 5.
Continue in this manner for each Bead until you have used all the Beads
on your Wire.
Step 6.
With the Crochet Hook remaining in the last loop of the chain stitch, cut
your wire leaving a 6 inch tail. Remove the Hook and hold the loop.
Now take the end of the Wire you just cut and thread it through one end
of the Toggle and then pull it through the loop and tighten. Wrap
the extra Wire. You may need to cut some Wire off before you wrap.
Step 7.
Take your tail from the other side of the bracelet and thread it through
the other end of the Toggle and through your first chain stitch loop.
Tighten and wrap as in Step 6. Enjoy!
