Necklace Directions
Step 1.  Cut 2 lengths of Soft Flex, one approximately 15” long and the 2nd approximately 20” long.
Step 2.  Onto your 15” long strand, string 12” of Seed Beads (Note: Since you are using a Miyuki Mix, the sizes and shapes of the beads differ.  You will want to randomly choose the beads from the Miyuki Mix, to string, so as to give your necklace good balance.).  Set the strand aside.
Step 3.  Repeat Step 2, with your 20” strand of Soft Flex, stringing 16” of Seed Beads.
Step 4.  Onto each of 2 Eye Pins, place the following beads:
1 Gold Round
1 Amethyst Crystal
1 Pearl
1 Amethyst Crystal
1 Gold Round
Step 5.  Using Flat Nosed Pliers bend each Eye Pin 90°. Using a Side Cutter cut off the excess from the Eye Pins leaving approximately 3/16". Carefully bend the 3/16" pieces of wire into a loop using Round Nosed Pliers, and now close the loop tightly so there are no gaps.  Set the Eye Pins aside.  These 2 Eye Pins will be called Eye Pins A.
Step 6.  Onto each of 2 Eye Pins, place the following beads:
1 Gold Round
1 Topaz Crystal
1 Pearl
1 Topaz Crystal
1 Gold Round
Step 7.  Repeat Step 5.  We will call these Eye Pins B.
Step 8.  Onto each of 2 Eye Pins, place the following beads:
1 Gold Round
1 Amethyst Crystal
1 Gold Round
1 Topaz Crystal
1 Gold Round
Step 9.  Repeat Step 5.  We will call these Eye Pins C.
Step 10.  Cut approximately 8 ¼” of Chain.  (Note: the pattern of Chain is as follows: small circle, figure eight, large oval, figure eight, small circle; so, cut the Chain so that each end will contain a small circle).  This will be Chain #1.  Set this length of Chain aside.
Step 11.  Cut another length of Chain approximately 8” long.  The ends of this length should each contain an oval of the Chain.  This will be Chain #2.  Set the Chain aside.
Step 12.  Cut 2 more lengths of Chain, each approximately 2 ¼” long, with the ends containing small circles.  Both of these lengths of Chain will be called Chain #3.  Set them aside.
Step 13.  Take your shorter strand of Soft Flex that is strung with the Seed Beads.  (Note: we are going to attach the Chain to the strand, so you should secure the ends of the strand with tape or Bead Stoppers, so that the beads do not fall off.)
Step 14.  Twist open a loop of one of Eye Pins B.  Measure in about 3” from the end of this shorter strand and place the open loop onto the strand in betweeen Seed Beads.  Twist the loop closed tightly.
Step 15.  Twist open the bottom loop of Eye Pin B that is attached to your strand.  Insert one end of Chain #2 into the open loop.  Twist the loop closed.
Step 16.  Repeat Step 14 with your other Eye Pin B and coming 3” in from the opposite end of the strand.
Step 17.  Repeat Step 15 with the other end of Chain #2.  Now your Chain is attached to the shorter strand of Seed Beads, so set it aside and we will work with the longer strand.
Step 18.  Twist open a loop of one of Eye Pins A.  Measure in about 4” from the end of the longer strand of Soft Flex and place the open loop onto the strand, in betweeen Seed Beads.  Twist the loop closed tightly.
Step 19.  Twist open the bottom loop of Eye Pin A that is attached to your longer strand.  Insert one end of Chain #1 into the open loop.  Twist the loop closed.
Step 20.  Repeat Step 18 with your other Eye Pin A and coming 4” in from the opposite end of the strand.
Step 21.  Repeat Step 19 with the other end of Chain #1.  Now your Chain is attached to the longer strand of Seed Beads, so set it aside
Step 22.  Take one of Eye Pins C and twist open one loop of the Eye Pin.  Measure down about a ½” from the end of your shorter strand of beaded Soft Flex.  Place the open loop onto the strand in between Seed Beads and twist the loop closed tightly.
Step 23.  Measure down just slightly more than a ½” on your longer beaded strand of Soft Flex.  Twist open the bottom loop of the Eye Pin C and insert it onto the strand in between Seed Beads.  Twist the loop closed tightly.
Step 24.  Repeat Step 22 with your other Eye Pin C and come from the opposite end of the shorter strand of beaded Soft Flex.
Step 25.  Repeat Step 23, coming from the opposite end of the longer beaded strand of Soft Flex.
Now all your Chain is attached and your 2 strands are attached together…we are almost done.
Step 26.  Onto the end of the shorter strand of Soft Flex, string a Crimp Bead.  Loop the Soft Flex around the small circle on the end of one piece of Chain #3.  String the Soft Flex back down through the Crimp.  Crush the Crimp and trim the excess.
Step 27.  Repeat Step 26 with your other (and last) piece of Chain #3 on the opposite end of the shorter strand of Soft Flex.
Step 28.  Repeat Step 26 with the longer strand of beaded Soft Flex
Step 29.  Repeat Step 27 on the opposite end of the longer strand.
Step 30.  Take an Eye Pin and, holding onto the loop, bend the length of the Eye Pin at a 90 Degree angle, using Flat Nosed Pliers.
Step 31.  Onto the Eye Pin, place the loop of one end of the Toggle Clasp.
Using a Side Cutter cut off the excess eye pin leaving approximately ¼". Carefully bend the ¼" piece of wire into a loop (around the loop of the Toggle Clasp), using Round Nosed Pliers and close the loop tightly.
Step 32.  Twist open the “eye” (loop) of the Eye Pin that you just attached to one end of your Toggle Clasp.  Insert the small circle at one end of Chain #3.
Step 33.  Repeat Step 30.
Step 34.  Repeat Step 31 with the other end of the Toggle Clasp.
Step 35.  Repeat Step 32 with the other end of Chain #3.
Step 36.  Repeat Step 30.
Step 37.  Repeat Step 31 using the Twist Pendant.
Step 38. Twist open the “eye” (loop) of the Eye Pin that you just attached to your Pendant.
Step 39.  Insert the open loop of the Eye Pin onto the middle, small circle of your attached Chain #1 (Note: the middle is approximately 4 ¼” down this section of Chain).  Twist the loop closed. Enjoy!
