Jonquil Crystal Pendant Necklace
Simple, quick, and pretty are good words to describe our necklace this week. Tanzanite and jonquil are such pretty colors on their own…put them together and they compliment each other so well. We added our jonquil octagon pendant to really enhance the seed beads and Swarovski crystals. The finished length of the necklace is just over 18”. You will have plenty of left over beads and findings.
Materials:

Directions:
Step 1. Cut 3 Strands of Soft Flex, each approximately 22” long.
Step 2. Onto the first strand, string 15 Purple Seed Beads.
Step 3. String the following onto the same strand:
1 Heishi
1 Jonquil Crystal
1 Heishi
30 Purple Seed Beads
1 Jonquil Crystal
30 Purple Seed Beads
1 Heishi
1 Jonquil Crystal
1 Heishi
30 Purple Seed Beads
1 Jonquil Crystal
60 Purple Seed Beads
1 Jonquil Crystal
30 Purple Seed Beads.
Step 4. String the following onto the same strand:
1 Heishi
1 Jonquil Crystal
1 Heishi
30 Purple Seed Beads
1 Jonquil Crystal
30 Purple Seed Beads
1 Heishi
1 Jonquil Crystal
1 Heishi
15 Purple Seed Beads
Set this strand aside.
Step 5. Onto the second strand, string 32 Lime Seed Beads
Step 6. Now, onto the second strand, string the following:
1 Heishi
1 Tanzanite Crystal
1 Heishi
30 Lime Seed Beads
1 Tanzanite Crystal
30 Lime Seed Beads
Step 7. Repeat Step 6 once.
Step 8. String 1 Tanzanite Crystal and 30 Lime Seed Beads
Step 9. Repeat Step 6 once.
Step 10. String 1 Heishi, 1 Tanzanite Crystal, 1 Heishi, and 32 Lime Seed Beads
Step 11. Onto your 3rd strand you will alternate, stringing 1 Purple Seed Bead, 1 Lime Seed Bead, 1 Purple Seed Bead, 1 Lime Seed Bead, etc., until this strand is beaded just as long as the other 2 strands.
Step 12. Gather your 3 strands together and slide them through a Jump Ring. Position the Jump Ring at the center of all 3 strands.
Step 13. Place another Jump Ring onto a Pinch Bail, then squeeze the Pinch Bail closed into the hole of the Jonquil Pendant.
Step 14. Twist open the Jump Ring from Step 13, that you just attached to the Pinch Bail, and insert the Jump Ring at the center of your 3 strands. Twist the Jump Ring closed.
Step 15. String the end of your first strand of SoftFlex through a Crimp Bead, through the loop of the Lobster Clasp, then back through the Crimp Bead. Crush the Crimp.
Step 16. Repeat Step 15 with the other 2 strands.
Step 17. Repeat Step 15 with each strand at the opposite end of your necklace, using a Jump Ring.
