Directions:
Step 1. First you will want to mold your Vintage Four Point Large Flower Filigree around the Sunstone Gemstone. Place the Large Vintage Filigree over top of the Gemstone to give yourself an idea of how much of the Vintage piece that you will be bending around the Gemstone. Begin to slightly bend the 4 points of the Vintage piece around the Gemstone. This will give the Vintage piece a look of being wrapped around the Gemstone or of the Gemstone being set in the Vintage piece. (Note: we found that it is easier to bend points of the Vintage piece on a table or other flat surface, continually placing it over the Gemstone while doing so, until the fit is just right, but you can also use Flat or Round Nose Pliers).

Step 2. Once your Vintage piece is bent appropriately, glue the Vintage piece to the Gemstone using small dots of Zap-a-Gap. (Note: be sure that the Vintage piece does not cover the holes of the Gemstone. See picture.) Let dry.

Step 3. Using the Zap-A-Gap and Tweezers, glue 4 Flat Back Crystals onto the Vintage Filigree, according to the picture. Let the glue dry.

Step 4. Onto an Eye Pin, place the finished Sunstone Gemstone.

Step 5. Using Flat Nose Pliers, bend the excess wire of the Eye Pin 90°. Carefully bend the excess wire into a loop using Round Nose Pliers and close tightly.

Step 6. Twist open a Jump Ring and insert a loop from the Eye Pin and the point at the top of one of your Vintage Filigree Narrow Diamonds. Twist the Jump Ring closed. This makes up the bottom (dangle) of the necklace.

Step 7. Cut a piece of your Rectangle Chain to contain 7 links and a piece of your Oval Chain to contain 10 links. Twist open a Jump Ring and insert the opposite (top) loop of your Eye Pin, the end link of the Rectangle Chain, then the end link of the Oval Chain, so that these links will be the beginning of the left side of the necklace. (Do not close the Jump Ring yet.)

Step 8. Cut another piece of Rectangle Chain to contain 4 links and a piece of Oval Chain to contain 6 links. Onto the right side of your open Jump Ring, insert first the end link on the piece of Rectangle Chain, then the end link on the piece of Oval Chain. (These will start the beginning of the right side of the necklace). Place another Jump Ring onto this open Jump Ring and twist the open Jump Ring closed tightly.

Step 9. Twist open a Jump Ring and insert the closed Jump Ring that you just attached and the bottom point of your other Vintage Filigree Narrow Diamond. Twist the Jump Ring closed.

Step 10. Twist open a Jump Ring and insert the top point of the Vintage Filigree Narrow Diamond, that you just attached, and another Jump Ring. Twist the Jump Ring closed. (Note: the Jump Ring that you just attached will be where you will begin your second strand. We will go back to the second strand later in the directions.)

Step 11. First we’ll work on the left side of the necklace. Take your 2 Vintage Round Ring Charms and, using your Zap-a-Gap, glue them together, back to back (Note: be conscious of the way that you line up the Round Ring Charms before gluing. In a later step, you will be putting a Jump Ring through the Charms, so you will need enough space within the pattern of the Ring Charms to do so. You will want to glue them together to get the gaps in the pattern to match up as well as possible.) Let the glue dry.

Step 13. Cut approximately 5 inches of Soft Flex and string about 2 ½ inches of Seed Beads. (Note: we did not use any of the Bugle Beads that are in the Mix.)

Step 14. String your beaded strand through the link at the end of your attached Rectangle Chain, then through the link at the end of your attached Oval Chain. Now, bring the strand through the center of the glued Round Ring Charms.

Step 15. Bring the ends of the Soft Flex together, stringing 1 Crimp Bead through both ends. Pull tightly to make the loop. Crush the Crimp Bead using Crimping Pliers.

Step 16. Onto an Eye Pin, place 1 Clear Fancy Round, 1 Pink Pearl, and 1 Bronze Pearl.

Step 17. Using Flat Nose Pliers, bend the wire of the beaded Eye Pin 90°. Using a Side Cutter cut off the excess from the Eye Pin, leaving approximately 3/16". Carefully bend the 3/16" piece of wire a loop, using Round Nose Pliers, and close tightly.

Step 18. Twist open a Jump Ring and insert it through a space in the glued Round Ring Charms and through a hole of the Eye Pin that you just beaded. Twist the Jump Ring closed.

Step 19. Cut 2 pieces of your Rectangle Chain to contain 4 links each.

Step 20. Twist open a Jump Ring and insert the loop at the opposite end of the Eye Pin that you just attached and the links at the end of the 2 pieces of Chain that you just cut. Twist the Jump Ring closed.

Step 21. Onto an Eye Pin, place a Bronze Pearl.

Step 22. Repeat Step 17.

Step 23. Twist open a Jump Ring and insert the end links at the opposite end of the 2 pieces of Chain that you just attached and a loop from the Eye Pin from Step 21. Twist the Jump Ring closed.

Step 24. Onto an Eye Pin, place a Pink Crystal, a Pink Pearl, and a Pink Crystal.

Step 25. Repeat Step 17.

Step 26. Twist open a Jump Ring and insert the loop from the opposite end of the Eye Pin (with the Bronze Pearl) and a loop from the Eye Pin you just beaded in Step 24. Twist the Jump Ring closed.

Step 27. Repeat Step 21.

Step 28. Repeat Step 17.

Step 29. Twist open a Jump Ring and insert the loop at the opposite end of the last Eye Pin that you attached (with the Pink Crystals and Pink Pearl) and a loop from your Eye Pin from Step 27 (with the Bronze Pearl). Twist the Jump Ring closed.

Step 30. Twist open a Jump Ring and insert the loop at the opposite end of the last Eye Pin that you attached (containing a Bronze Pearl) and another Jump Ring (this Jump Ring will stay closed and will be used with the Lobster Clasp in closing your necklace when putting it on.) Twist the open Jump Ring closed.

Step 31. Now we are going back down toward the Gemstone to work on the right side of the necklace. Twist open a Jump Ring and insert the link at the end of your attached piece of Rectangle Chain, then the link on the end of your attached piece of Oval Chain. Twist the Jump Ring closed.

Step 32. Twist open a Jump Ring and insert the Jump Ring that you just attached and a loop from your Open Flower Connector. Twist the Jump Ring closed.

Step 33. Cut a piece of Rectangle Chain to contain 3 links.

Step 34. Twist open a Jump Ring and insert the loop at the opposite end of the Open Flower Connector and the link at the end of the small section of Chain that you just cut. Twist the Jump Ring closed.

Step 35. Cut a strand of Soft Flex, approximately 10 inches long. String approximately 4 inches of Seed Beads onto the strand. Take the ends of the strand and string each end through a Pink Pearl. String about an 1 ¼ inch of Seed Beads onto one end of the strand, coming from the Pearl, then onto the opposite side of the strand, coming from the Pearl.

Step 36. Bring the ends of the Soft Flex together, stringing 1 Crimp Bead through both ends. Pull tightly to make a loop. Crush the Crimp Bead using Crimping Pliers.

Step 37. Twist open a Jump Ring and insert the link at the end of the piece of Chain that you last attached and the larger loop from the beaded strand of Seed Beads that you just Crimped. Twist the Jump Ring closed.

Step 38. Cut a length of Rectangle Chain to contain 6 links.

Step 39. Twist open a Jump Ring and insert the smaller loop from your beaded strand of Seed Beads and the link at the end of the section of Chain that you just cut. Twist the Jump Ring closed.

Step 40. Twist open a Jump Ring and insert the link at the opposite end of the piece of Chain you just attached and the loop of a Lobster Clasp. Do not twist this Jump Ring closed just yet.

Step 41. Cut 8 small sections of Oval Chain to each contain 3 links. Set aside for the moment.

Step 42. Onto each of 6 Eye Pins, place a Bronze Pearl.

Step 43. Repeat Step 17 with each Eye Pin. We will call these Eye Pins A.

Step 44. Onto each of 5 Eye Pins, place a Pink Pearl.

Step 45. Repeat Step 17 with each Eye Pin. We will call these Eye Pins B.

Step 46. Go back to the Jump Ring that you attached to your necklace in Step 10. Twist open that Jump Ring and insert the loops from 2 of Eye Pins A. Twist the Jump Ring closed.

Step 47. Twist open a Jump Ring and insert the loop at the opposite end of the Eye Pin on the left and a section of Oval Chain (from Step 41). Twist the Jump Ring closed.

Step 48. Twist open a Jump Ring and insert the link at the opposite end of the piece of Chain and a loop from one of Eye Pins B. Twist the Jump Ring closed.

Step 49. Twist open a Jump Ring and insert the loop at the opposite end of the Eye Pin and the link at the end of another piece of Chain. Twist the Jump Ring closed.

Step 52. Repeat Steps 48-50.

Step 53. Twist open a Jump Ring and insert the loop at the opposite end of the Eye Pin that you just attached and a loop from your Buttercup Connector. Twist the Jump Ring closed.

Step 54. Twist open a Jump Ring and insert the other loop from your Buttercup Connector and one of Eye Pins B. Twist the Jump Ring closed.

Step 55. Cut a single link of Oval Chain.

Step 55. Twist open a Jump Ring and insert the loop at the opposite end of the Eye Pin that you just attached and the single link of Oval Chain. Twist the Jump Ring closed.

Step 56. Twist open the Jump Ring that you attached to your necklace in Step 30 (Note: Do not twist open the Jump Ring that is hanging off to be used with the Lobster Clasp. Twist open the Jump Ring that is attached to the loop of the Eye Pin.). Insert the single link of Oval Chain on the end of your second strand into the open Jump Ring. Twist the Jump Ring closed.
