STEP-BY-STEP: 
Start with about 30" of SoftFlex.  String on a crimp bead, make a loop through one piece (end) of your clasp, go back through the crimp bead and crush.  Now you can cut off the tail of SoftFlex and hide any extra in your first bead below as you string.

Below is the pattern we used...it's rather long and complex so feel free to improvise as you go along.
