Empress Dragonfly and Agate Necklace
Our beautiful Crazy Lace Agate Gemstone Rounds perfectly compliment our Vintage Brass in this playful little necklace. The layered Vintage Dragonfly Charms create a 3-D effect and dance around your neck; this is the perfect pick-me-up piece to spice up a simple T-shirt and jeans. The finished length of this necklace is approximately 19 ½ inches including the clasp.

Tools you will need (change quantity to 1 if you need them): 
Flat Chain Nose Pliers (#51016) Qty:

Directions:
Step 1. Gently twist open a Jump Ring with Flat Nose Pliers. Slide Jump Ring through one end of your Swirl Clasp and leave open.

Step 2. Cut a piece of Vintage Chain with your Memory Wire Cutter measuring approximately 18 links in length. Slide one end through the open Jump Ring in Step 1, then squeeze Jump Ring closed. Set aside.

Step 3. Take an Eye Pin and thread an Agate Round onto it. Bend the Eye Pin 90 degrees with Flat Nose Pliers and trim excess with Side Cutters, leaving approximately 3/8” behind.

Step 4. Cut a piece of Chain measuring approximately 10 links in length. Open the loop end of the Eye Pin and slide the end of the chain through it. Close loop. Curl the end of the Eye Pin into a tight loop with Round Tip Pliers and thread this onto the unused end of the Chain from Step 2 before closing the loop. Gently open a Jump Ring and slide on 2 Lady Dragonfly Charms, back-to-back. Slide the Jump Ring through the 2nd link on the 10-link piece of Chain and twist closed.

Step 5. Repeat Step 3.

Step 6. Cut a piece of Chain measuring approximately 9 links in length. Slide the end of the chain through the loop of the Eye Pin with the Agate Round. Curl the end of your Eye Pin into a tight loop with Round Tip Pliers and loop it through the chain from the previous step before closing. Gently open a Jump Ring and slide on 2 Lady Dragonfly Charms, back-to-back. Slide the Jump Ring through the 1st link on your Chain and squeeze closed.

Step 7. Repeat Step 3.

Step 8. Cut 1 link of Chain. Slide this one link through the loop of the Eye Pin from Step 7. Curl the end of the Eye Pin into a tight loop with Round Tip Pliers and close around the end of the Chain from the previous step

Step 9. Twist open a Jump Ring and slide through the single link. Before closing the Jump Ring, slide on 2 Vintage Empress Dragonfly Charms, back-to-back.

Step 10. Repeat Steps 1-8 in reverse order to complete the other side of your necklace. Enjoy!
