Directions:
Step 1. Create the Pendant (leave about six hours for it to dry completely before wearing). Lay the Frame Pendant on a flat surface and fill with Dark Amethyst Seed Beads, forming two even layers. Settle the Seed Beads with tweezers or your finger, filling in any holes and creating a semi-smooth surface. Gently dab the beads with Diamond Glaze, filling the Pendant with Glaze and covering any holes; have a toothpick or piece of cardboard handy to pop bubbles if they arise. Allow to dry.
Step 2. Cut a piece of Soft Flex about 10 inches long. Clip a Bead Stopper on one end and string one Crimp, 30 Pony Beads, one Heishi, 30 Seed Beads, and one Crimp. Thread this end of the Soft Flex through one piece of the Toggle and back through the Crimp. Crush the Crimp with Pliers and trim excess Soft Flex.
Step 3. Unclip the Bead Stopper and string this end of the Soft Flex through a hole in one of the Hammertone Links. Thread it back through the Crimp and crush with Pliers, trimming excess.
Step 4. Cut a piece of Soft Flex about 4 inches long. Clip a Bead Stopper on one end and string one Crimp, one Heishi, one Lavender Rectangle, one Heishi, 10 Pony Beads, and one Crimp. Bring this end through the other hole in the Hammertone Link, back through the Crimp, and crush with Pliers. Trim excess.
Step 5. Cut a piece of Chain measuring 17 links with Memory Wire Cutters. Unclip the Bead Stopper and string the end of the Soft Flex through the end link of the Chain, back through the Crimp, and crush with Pliers. Trim excess.
Step 6. Repeat Steps 2-4 with the second piece of the Toggle, creating the other side of the necklace. Attach it to the other side of the Chain with the same process from Step 5.
Step 7. When your Pendant is dry, gently twist open a Jump Ring with Flat Nose Pliers and thread it through the bail, then through the 9th (middle) link of the Chain. Close the Jump Ring. |
