Evergreen Frost Snowflake Ornament
We used two sizes of our Snowflake Form to create this enchanting and sparkly tree ornament. This is a lovely combination of Silver Pearls, Emerald Swarovski Crystals, Fire Polished Crystals and Silver Plated Rounds; the snowflake can also be used as a sun catcher or a lovely accent on a gift box! If you want to get creative or make multiple snowflakes, you can always choose different colored Swarovski Crystals. Happy Holidays!

Directions:
Step 1. Take a large Snowflake Form and dispense a small amount of Zap-A-Gap glue in the center. Place a small Snowflake Form on top of the large Snowflake so that you have 12 spokes evenly spaced. Let this dry about 15 minutes.
Step 2. Start your beading sequence on all of the longer spokes in this order:
One 2mm Silver Round
One 3mm Swarovski Bicone
One 4mm Silver Round
One 4mm Swarovski Bicone
One 6mm Silver Pearl
One 4mm Silver Round
One 6mm Swarovski Bicone
One 4mm Round
One 8mm Silver Pearl
One 6mm Swarovski Bicone
One 4mm Silver Round
One 3mm Swarovski Bicone
One Rubber Stopper
Repeat this step five times.
Step 3. Continue your beading sequence on the five shorter spokes in this order:
One 2mm Silver Round
One 3mm Swarovski Bicone
One 4mm Silver Round
One 4mm Swarovski Bicone
One 6mm Silver Pearl
One Daisy Bead Cap
One Fire Polished Round
One Daisy Bead Cap
One 6mm Silver Pearl
One 4mm Swarovski Bicone

One Rubber Stopper
Step 4. On the 6th short spoke, follow Step 3 but do not end with a Rubber Stopper; instead, make a loop with Flat Nose Pliers and gently squeeze closed. This allows you to insert a hook or decorative ribbon for hanging.
Step 5. Remove each ear stopper, put a little Zap-A-Gap on the end and replace the bead stopper. Glue will be set in a couple minutes. Enjoy! |
