Spring In Bloom Braided Necklace
This cheerful three-strand necklace is braided together using our Emerald AB, Transparent Emerald AB and Matte Lined Blue Fuchsia Seed Beads. It is accented by Forest Green Fire Polished Crystals, Silver Plated Rounds and Heishi Beads, with our festive Silver Plated Dragonfly and Bamboo Pendant as the focal. Silver Plated Hammertone Cones complement this fun piece. The length of this necklace is approximately 21 inches long, not including the pendant.

Directions:
Step 1. Cut three pieces of Soft Flex, each measuring approximately 25 inches in length.

Step 2. Using a Bead Stopper to keep your beads from sliding, thread one strand of Soft Flex with one Crimp Bead, 43 Matte Blue/Fuchsia Seed Beads and one Emerald Crystal. String 15 Matte Blue/Fuchsia Seed Beads and one Emerald Crystal. Repeat this sequence 6 more times. Finish this strand with 52 Matte Blue/Fuchsia Seed Beads and one Crimp Bead.

Step 3. Take your second piece of Soft Flex and thread one Crimp Bead, 41 Emerald AB Seed Beads and one Silver Round. String 20 Emerald AB Seed Beads and one Silver Round, then repeat this sequence 7 times. Finish off your strand by threading 20 more Seed Beads, one Silver Round, another 9 Seed Beads, and a Crimp Bead.

Step 4. Take your third piece of Soft Flex and thread one Crimp Bead, 13 Transparent Emerald AB Seed Beads, and one Heishi. String approximately one inch of Seed Beads followed by one Heishi, and repeat this sequence 7 times. Finish threading this strand with 3 ½ inches of Seed Beads.

Step 5. Clip each of the ends of the strands with a separate Bead Stopper and gently braid them. Clip all three together into one Bead Stopper.

Step 6. Remove one strand end from your Bead Stopper. Slide the end of your strand through the opening of an Eye Pin and back through the Crimp Bead. Gently crush the Crimp with Crimping Pliers. Repeat this step for the other two strands on the same Eye Pin, then take another Eye Pin and repeat on the other three ends.

Step 7. Slide one of the Eye Pins through a Cone, pulling the Eye Pin so it covers the strands. Make a simple loop above the Cone by bending the Eye Pin 90 degrees, leaving 3/8” behind and curl into a tight loop with Round Nose Pliers. Before completely closing the loop, slide one end of your Toggle Clasp through it. Now squeeze the loop closed. Repeat this step for the other side of your necklace.

Step 8. Take a bail and put it though the hole on the Pendant. Using only one strand, attach the Bail and Pendant onto the very center of your necklace and gently squeeze the Bail closed with pliers. Enjoy!
