Impressionist Waterfall Necklace
Here at eebeads, we all love the Monet Waterlily Lampwork Discs. When we got them back in stock, I was the lucky one who got to come up with this week’s idea, so naturally I had to use them. Their gorgeous color-story provided me with an intriguing palette of Indicolite and Crystal Copper Swarovski Bicone Crystals with touches of Gold Plated Starburst Rounds. All of the above sprinkled onto Gold Plated Thin Beading Chain and you have a work of art all your own…similar to a Monet. The finished length measures approximately 20 inches, including the clasp. Have fun creating this piece and feel free to improvise a different pattern and adjust the length. -Brandi, Customer Service

Directions:
Step 1. Cut the Chain in half to make two three-foot sections. Cut the Chain one more time to create four 18-inch sections.

Step 2. Take one section of Chain and slide one Crimp, one Stardust, one Indicolite, one Monet Disc, one Indicolite, one Stardust and one Crimp. Position this sequence about 6 inches from the end of the Chain. Use a Bead Stopper (optional) to keep the Crimp in place. Crush one of the Crimps with Crimping Pliers and make sure the beads are flush together. Crush the second Crimp.

Step 3. Thread on one Crimp, one Crystal Copper and one Crimp. Position this sequence approximately one inch below the first sequence. Crush the Crimps. Repeat this step again approximately three inches from the last set.

Step 4. Repeat step 2 and 3 on one of the other pieces of Chain.

Step 5. Thread one Crimp, one Crystal Copper, one Monet, one Crystal Copper and one Crimp onto the third piece of Chain. Position this sequence approximately 7 ½ inches from the end. Thread one Crimp, one Indicolite, one Stardust, one Indicolite and one Crimp. Position this sequence 1 inch from the last one and then crush the Crimps. Repeat this step on the fourth piece of Chain.

Step 6. Create a slider by twisting open four Jump Rings and attaching them together. Slide one strand of Chain through each Jump Ring.

Step 7. Thread one Crimp, one Crystal Copper, one Monet, one Crystal Copper and one Crimp. Position this sequence 2 inches from one of the last Crystal Copper sequences from the first two Chain strands. Crush the Crimps. Thread one Crimp, one Indicolite, one Stardust, one Indicolite and one Crimp. Position this sequence 1 ½ inches from the one above and crush the Crimps.

Step 8. Thread one Crimp, one Indicolite, one Stardust, one Indicolite and one Crimp. Position this sequence 3 ½ inches from the last Indicolite sequence from your third and fourth Chain strands and crush the Crimps. Thread one Crimp, one Crystal Copper and one Crimp. Position this 2 inches from your last sequence and crush the Crimps.

Step 9. Thread one Crimp, one Crystal Copper, one Monet, one Crystal Copper and one Crimp onto your third Chain strand after the Indicolite sequence approximately 5 inches down. Crush the Crimps. Thread one Crimp, one Indicolite, one Stardust, one Indicolite and one Crimp. Position 2 inches from the last sequence and crush the Crimps.

Step 10. On your last Chain strand thread one Crimp, one Indicolite, one Stardust, one Indicolite and one Crimp. Position approximately 2 inches from the Crystal Copper sequence and crush the Crimps. Thread one Crimp, one Crystal Copper and one Crimp 2 ½ inches down and crush the Crimps.

Step 11. Take two alternating strands (i.e., 1 and 3 or 2 and 4) and thread into a Crimp End. Squeeze the Crimp end with Flat Nose Pliers one side at a time. For more security, you can optionally add a dab of adhesive into the Crimp End opening. Repeat this for the other two strands.

Step 12. Twist open a Jump Ring and thread it through the loop on the Crimp End and through a loop on the Clasp. Repeat this for the other side with the other piece of your Clasp. Enjoy!
