Crystal Cornucopia Earrings
Michelle from the filling department started this week’s idea as a bracelet, but eventually it got a mind of its own and became a gorgeous pair of dangling earrings. Rich autumnal colors of Swarovski Crystal Bicones, Swarovski and Czech Pearls combine with vintage brass for a truly stunning pair that can be worn year-round. The earrings dangle about 2.75 inches from the top of the Ear Wire.

Directions:
Step 1. Create the dangles first. Twist open a Jump Ring and thread a Drop onto it, then twist the Jump Ring closed. Repeat this with five more Drops and set aside. Thread a Crystal Red Magma Bicone onto a Head Pin and form a simple loop above it by bending the Head Pin 90 degrees with Flat Nose Pliers, then trim with Side Cutters to leave 3/8 inch behind. Curl this into a tight loop with Round Nose Pliers. Repeat this with three more Crystal Red Magma Bicones. Thread each of four Sunflower Bicones onto a Head Pin and make a simple loop above each. Do the same with eight Topaz Bicones, three Coral Pearls, and six Olivine Pearls.

Step 2. Cut a piece of Chain 37 links in length and lay it out before you. Begin attaching the dangles, working from one end to the other. Attach a Drop to the 4th link, a Crystal Red Magma to the 6th link, and a Drop to the 8th link. Twist open a Jump Ring and attach two Topaz Bicones and a Sunflower Bicone to it, then thread this onto the 10th link. Open another Jump Ring and attach two Olivine Pearls and a Coral Pearl, then thread this onto the 14th link along with a Crystal Red Magma Bicone. Attach a Drop to the 17th link.

Step 3. Twist open a Jump Ring and attach two Topaz Bicones and a Sunflower Bicone, then repeat on another Jump Ring. Twist open another and attach two Olivine Pearls and a Coral Pearl. Attach each of these three Jump Rings to the 19th link.

Step 4. Work your way back out, following the pattern from Step 2 in the opposite order to create a symmetrical pattern. Twist open a Jump Ring and thread both ends of the Chain onto it, then through the bottom loop of the Ear Wire. Twist the Jump Ring closed.

Step 5. Repeat Steps 1-4 to finish the other earring. Enjoy!
