Moonlit Garden Necklace
You know I love our Vintage Brass pieces and I thought our new lampwork lentil beads in ochre and jet swirls would look gorgeous with the Swirling Dragonfly pendant.  This assymetrical design also has jet black Czech pressed glass rounds as accents on the side and at the bottom of the pendant design.  You'll need a round nose pliers to curve the end of the dragonfly tail, then insert a jump ring to complete the pendant.  The necklace measures 16 inches without the clasp, but you'll have plenty of leftover chain to make it longer if you want to.  -Carolyn, owner eebeads.com

Flat Chain Nose Pliers (#51016) Qty:
Round Nose Pliers (#51017) Qty:
Side Cutters (#51018) Qty:

Directions:
Step 1. Bend open the links of the Chain to get two pieces, one measuring 16 links in length and the other 27 links. Bend open one of the end links on each piece and attach a Hook Clasp to one and an Eye Clasp to the other.

Step 2. Create dangles by threading one Druk onto each of nine Head Pins. Form a simple loop above each by bend the Head Pin 90 degrees above the bead with Flat Nose Pliers and trimming it with Side Cutters to leave about 3/8 inch behind. Curl this into a tight loop with Round Nose Pliers and set these dangles aside.

Step 3. Create connectors by threading each of four Lentil Discs onto an Eye Pin and form a simple loop above each. Set these aside.

Step 4. Twist open a Jump Ring and thread it through the end link on the short piece of Chain, then one dangle, a Lentil Disc connector, and another dangle. Close the Jump Ring.

Step 5. Repeat the process in Step 4 with two more Lentil Disc Connectors so that you have three in a row. Using a Jump Ring, attach this final Connector to the antennae of the Dragonfly Pendant.

Step 6. Using Round Nose Pliers, gently bend the tail of the Dragonfly upwards into a loop about ¼ inch from the end.

Step 7. Open one of the loops on the remaining Lentil Disc Connector and thread on three dangles. Thread a Jump Ring through the loop on the opposite side, then through the loop on the Dragonfly’s tail.

Step 8. Open another Jump Ring and thread it through the end link of the long piece of Chain, then through the Dragonfly’s antennae. Twist it closed. Enjoy!
