Birthday Time Three Strand Watch
Eebeads turns 15 this month and with all of the excitement starting, I wanted to use the company colors of teal and purple for this week’s idea. This three-strand watch incorporates Blue Zircon, Amethyst and Clear Preciosa Crystals, Aurora Glass Pearls, Capri and Purple Silver Foil Rectangles and Antique Silver Plated Corrugated Bicones. A stunning combination that floats on multiple strands of Silver Crinkle Wire is the accent to a Silver Tone Oval Watch Face. The finished length measures approximately 8 inches, including the clasp. Directions:
Step 1. Cut six pieces of Crinkle Wire measuring approximately 9 inches each. For a longer or shorter finished length, just adjust the strands length accordingly. Each of the three strands have two strands of Crinkle Wire and the pattern will alternate between sliding both strands or a single strand through the beads.
Step 2. Starting with the middle loop on the Watch Face, slide one strand of Crinkle Wire through and even up the length. Thread one Blue Zircon through both strands, one Pearl on a single strand, one Blue Zircon through both strands, one Silver Bicone on a single strand, one Clear Crystal on a single strand, one Rectangle through both strands, one Clear Crystal on a single strand, one Silver Bicone on a single strand, one Blue Zircon through both strands, one Pearl on a single strand, one Blue Zircon through both strands and lastly, one Crimp Bead through both strands.
Step 3. Slide the ends through the center loop on one side of the Tubular Clasp and back through the Crimp Bead. Once at the desired length, crush the Crimp Bead and trim the excess Crinkle Wire.
Step 4. Take another strand of Crinkle Wire and slide through either outer loop on the Watch Face and again, even up the length. Thread one Amethyst through both strands, one Clear Crystal on a single strand, one Rectangle through both strands, one Amethyst on a single strand, one Clear Crystal on a single strand, one Pearl on a single strand, one Silver Bicone through both strands, one Blue Zircon on a single strand, one Rectangle through both strands, one Blue Zircon through both strands and one Crimp Bead. Repeat this to make a strand for the other outer loop.
Step 5. Repeat step 3 through each of the two outer loops on the Tubular Clasp.
Step 6. Repeat steps 2-5 to complete the other side. For an easier time, close the Tubular Clasp before attaching the ends. This will help ensure untwisted strands. Enjoy!
