Directions:
Step 1. This necklace is easiest assembled on a bust or dress form, but can also be done on a bead board. Start by cutting two pieces of Chain, each measuring approximately 4 inches in length. On the end of one piece of Chain, attach one half of the Clasp with a Jump Ring. On the other end of this piece, attach one Hammered Ring with a Jump Ring. Do the same on the other piece of Chain with the other half of the Clasp and another Hammered Ring.

Step 2. There are three strands to the necklace; each is attached to the Hammered Rings with one Jump Ring, so open two Jump Rings and attach one to each Hammered Ring. Begin with the shortest strand—cut one piece of Chain measuring approximately 6 inches in length and attach this to the open Jump Rings on each end of the Chain.

Step 3. For the second strand, small pieces of chain are interspersed with five Fuchsia Crystals. To create these Crystal sections, thread a Crystal onto an Eye Pin and form a simple loop above it by bending the Eye Pin 90 degrees with Flat Nose Pliers and trimming with Side Cutters to leave 3/8 inch behind. Curl into a tight loop with Round Nose Pliers.

Step 4. Cut six sections of Chain, with two sections measuring 13 links in length, two measuring 8 links in length, and two measuring 10 links in length. Starting with a 13 link section, add a Crystal, an 8 link section, a Crystal, a 10 link section, a Crystal, a 10 link section, a Crystal, an 8 link section, a Crystal, and a 13 link section. Connect this Chain to the Jump Ring on each end beside the first strand.

Step 5. For the third strand, cut 7 pieces of Chain; two measuring 6 links in length, four measuring 9 links in length, and one measuring 17 links in length. Create four sections of Turquoise Rounds with the same process used in Step 3 and two sections of Filigree Rounds. Connect the following: a 6-link section of Chain, a Turquoise Round, a 9-link section, a Filigree Round, a 9-link section, a Turquoise Round, the 17-link section, a Turquoise Round, a 9-link section, a Filigree Round, a 9-link section, a Turquoise Round, and a 6-link section. Connect this Chain to the Jump Ring on each end beside the first and second strands.

Step 6. Thread a Crystal onto an Eye Pin and create a small simple loop on the other end. Twist open a Jump Ring and thread on the Leaf Pendant, followed by this Crystal and the Swallow Connector on the beak end. Close the Jump Ring and open another; attach this to the Swallow Connector’s tail, then the center of the 17-link section of Chain on the third strand. Enjoy!
