Wild Orchid Evening Necklace
I wanted to push myself this week to come up with something a little more elegant than I usually wear. I started with three layers of our silver plated liquid twists and created sections of Czech and Preciosa Crystals with Mystic Black Swarovski Pearls and tiny Amethyst rounds, tying them together with an Abstract Tulip Connector. Wear this out on date night or for some extra sparkle at work! It measures 20 inches at its longest point. –Dannie, Customer Service

Directions:
Step 1. Cut four pieces of Soft Flex: one measuring 8 inches in length, one 14 inches in length, one 15 inches in length, and one 17 inches in length. Clip a Bead Stopper at one end of the three longest strands.

Step 2. Begin with the 14 inch strand. String a Crimp Bead and bring the end of the strand through the bottom of the Tulip Connector, back through the Crimp and crush with Crimping Pliers. Trim any excess Soft Flex, then string the following: four Liquid Twists, one Silver Round, one Jet Bicone, one Silver Round, four Liquid Twists, one Amethyst Bicone, one Filigree Tube, and one Amethyst Bicone. Repeat this pattern once, followed by five Liquid Twists, one Swarovski Pearl, five Liquid Twists, one Amethyst Fire Polished Crystal, 8 Liquid Twists, and one Crimp. Crimp this end to a closed Jump Ring.

Step 3: Take the 15 inch strand and add a Crimp Bead, then crimp the strand to the left of the strand from Step 2. String the following: three Liquid Twists, one Silver Plated Round, one Jet Bicone, one Amethyst Round, one Jet Bicone, one Silver Plated Round, three Liquid Twists, and a Swarovski Pearl. Repeat this pattern three more times, then add 13 Liquid Twists and a Crimp. Crimp it to the same closed Jump Ring.

Step 4. Take the 17 inch strand and add a Crimp Bead, then crimp the strand to the left of the strand from Step 3. String the following: three Liquid Twists, one Silver Plated Round, one Amethyst Fire Polished Crystal, one Silver Plated Round, three Liquid Twists, one Amethyst Bicone, one Filigree Tube, and one Amethyst Bicone. Repeat this pattern four times, followed by eight Liquid Twists and a Crimp. Crimp this end to the closed Jump Ring and attach the Jump Ring to the Filigree Clasp.

Step 5. Take the 8 inch strand and add a Crimp Bead, then crimp the strand to the top of the Tulip Connector. String the following: one Liquid Twist, one Swarovski Pearl, one Liquid Twist, one Amethyst Bicone, one Filigree Tube, one Amethyst Bicone, one Liquid Twist, one Swarovski Pearl, ten Liquid Twists, and a Crimp Bead. Crimp this to the hook portion of the Clasp. Enjoy!
