Mint Chocolate Treat Necklace
With summer right around the corner, I was just reminiscing about some of my favorite memories of the shore. One of those is the simple pleasure of enjoying a mint chocolate chip ice cream cone on the Boardwalk. This delicious color-story of Vintage Brass, Coco Striped Wood Rounds, Metallic Matte Terra Green Pony Beads and Mint Crackle Glass Ovals really brings that flavor to life in this long asymmetrical style necklace. The finished length measures approximately 28 inches around.  -Brandi, Customer Service

Step 1. Slide 15 Pony Beads onto each of four Eye Pins. Form a simple loop above the last bead by bending the Eye Pin 90 degrees with Flat Nose Pliers. Trim the Eye Pin with Side Cutters to leave about ¼ inch behind and curl this into a tight loop with Round Nose Pliers.

Step 2. Connect two of these together by attaching the loops, gently bending the connected Eye Pins to form a circle. Repeat with two more Eye Pins. Set aside.

Step 3. Onto 2 Eye Pins, slide one Topaz Round, one Mint Crackle, one Topaz Round and form a simple loop. Set aside.

Step 4. Onto 2 Eye Pins, slide one Pony Bead, one Coco Round, one Pony Bead and form a simple loop. Set aside.

Step 5. Separate 1 foot of each style of Chain. Twist open a Jump Ring and slide each end link from the Chain onto it. Before twisting closed, slide it through the loop on a Mint Crackle made in step 3.

Step 6. Connect the Mint Crackle from above to a Striped Coco link from Step 4. Twist open a Jump Ring and slide through the bottom loop of the Striped Coco and then through the Filigree Round Ring. Twist open another Jump Ring and slide it through the Filigree Round Ring. Before twisting closed, slide through the two loops on one of the Pony Bead circles made in Step 2.

Step 7. Twist open a Jump Ring and slide it through the other two loops on the Pony Bead circle from Step 6. Do not twist the Jump Ring closed yet.

Step 8. Cut 2 pieces each of the Medium Chain and Small Chain. One piece should measure approximately 5 ½ inches and the other 6½ inches. Slide the Jump Ring from Step 7 through each end link of the Chains.

Step 9. Twist open a Jump Ring and slide it through each link on the opposite ends of the Chain. Before twisting closed, slide the Jump Ring through the bottom loop of a Mint Crackle Eye Pin made in step 3.

Step 10. Attach the Mint Crackle to the bottom loop of a Striped Coco link from Step 4. Twist open a Jump Ring and slide it through the top loop of the Striped Coco link. Before twisting closed, slide the Jump Ring through both loops on the Pony Bead circle made in Step 2.

Step 11. Twist open a Jump Ring and slide it through both loops on the other end of the Pony Bead circle. Before twisting closed, slide it through each end link on the other side of Chains from Step 5. Enjoy!
