Eternal Bracelet
Kelly from our piecework department was in a simple state of mind when she put together this casual, everyday bracelet. As a lover of Vintage Brass mixed with Silver, she used a layered combination of our Two Tiered Donut and Thin Hammered Ring. Tying the look together is Brown Greek Leather Cord and a Swirl Clasp. This design is a cinch to make and is a fabulous layering piece. It can easily be lengthened from this 7 ½ inch finished version.

Directions:
Step 1. Cut two pieces of Leather Cord measuring approximately 8 inches each.
Step 2. Place the Thin Hammered Ring on top of the Two Tiered Donut.
Step 3. Take one piece of Leather Cord and fold it in half to create a lark’s head knot. Do this by placing the folded side of the Leather Cord over the Ring grouping from Step 2 above. Leave an inch or so and string it around the Rings. Take the two loose ends of the Cord and slip them through the loop; pull tightly to secure against the Rings. Repeat this with the other piece of Leather Cord on the opposite side.
Step 4. Flip the piece face down. Take the top strand of Leather Cord and fold it over the bottom strand, wrap it back around over the top of itself and then through the loop that it creates; this should create the look of a pretzel. Slide this knot towards the lark’s head knot and pull tightly. Repeat this on the other side.
Step 5. Insert both loose ends of the Leather Cord into a Pinch End. Squeeze each prong little by little until the strands are completely secure. If you choose, you can always add a dab of adhesive inside the Pinch End for extra security.
Step 6. Twist open the bottom loop of the Swirl Clasp and slide through the loop of the Pinch End. Twist open the Ring of the other side of the Clasp and slide through the loop on the other Pinch End. Twist the Ring closed. Enjoy! |
