Vintage Illuminated Bib Necklace
What a showpiece! Michelle really stepped out of her comfort zone this week and created this beauty. She got creative with our Vintage Brass Posie and Gerbera Daisy Filigrees by layering them and filling them with Siam Fire Polished and Swarovski Bicone Crystals for a bit of illumination. These three clusters are suspended from Vintage Brass Rectangle and Medium Oval Cable Chains. It is easily customizable by switching the colors of crystals. The finished piece measures approximately 19 ½ inches including the clasp.

Materials:

Directions:
Step 1. Cut two pieces of Rectangle Chain measuring approximately 7 inches. Cut two pieces of Oval Chain measuring approximately 4 ½ inches. Set aside.

Step 2. Assembling the Filigree focals; lay a Posie Filigree face down. Twist open a 4mm Jump Ring with Flat Nose Pliers and slide it through one of the openings on a petal and through another petal on a second Posie Filigree. Make sure that the top Filigree is facing up then twist the Jump Ring closed. Continue this for two more petals.

Step 3. Place one Swarovski Crystal inside the Posie Filigree, onto each petal (6 total) and continue the same process with the 4mm Jump Rings from step 2. If you would like to keep your beads from moving, you can always use a dab of Zap-A-Gap to keep them in place; however, this is completely optional. Repeat step 2-3 with the other two Posie Filigree’s

Step 4. Lay a Gerbera Filigree face down and use the same process as in step 2 and step 3 but use the Fire Polished Crystals (8 total).

Step 5. Position the Gerbera so that it is centered. Twist open a 6mm Jump Ring and slide it through one of the 4mm Jump Rings used to attach the two pieces together. Repeat on the opposite side. Before twisting the Jump Rings closed, slide one through a 4mm Jump Ring on a Posie Filigree. Repeat on the opposite side. Twist the Jump Rings closed.

Step 6. Twist open a 6mm Jump Ring and slide it through a 4mm Jump Ring used to attach both pieces together. Before twisting the Jump Ring closed, slide through the ends of one piece of Oval Chain and one piece of Rectangle Chain from step 1.

Step 7. Twist open the last free link on the Oval Chain and slide it through the 16th link (counting from the bottom) on the Rectangle Chain. Twist the link closed.

Step 8. Twist open the Ring part of the Clasp and slide through the last free link on the Rectangle Chain, twist the link closed.

Step 9. Repeat steps 6-8 using the other side of the clasp to complete the other side of the necklace. Enjoy!
