Boardwalk Stroll Necklace
As the last days of summer start winding down, it’s a great time to finally get to the shore if you haven’t yet! This week’s idea exudes a carefree feeling and will surely carry you well into the fall season. Michelle paired our Natural Greek Leather, Turquoise African Old White Heart Beads, Turquoise Ceramic Spacers and Brass Bicones from Ghana. Get creative and string the beads in any random pattern, as done in this design. The finished length measures approximately 20 ½ inches, including the clasp.

Directions:
Step 1. Cut three pieces of Leather each measuring approximately 19-20 inches each.

Step 2. Onto one strand, string one Crimp, one Spacer and one Crimp and position the grouping 2 inches from the end. Very gently squeeze each Crimp Bead for each sequence with Crimping Pliers ensuring you do not cut into the Leather. Continue on the same strand and string one Crimp, one White Heart, one Bicone, one White Heart, one Bicone, one White Heart and one Crimp. Position approximately 7 inches from the above grouping and crush the Crimps. For the last segment repeat the first sequence leaving approximately 2 inches from the end.

Step 3. Onto the second strand, string one Crimp, one Spacer and one Crimp and position the grouping approximately 3 ½ inches from the end. Gently crush the Crimps. Repeat this sequence a second time spacing the group approximately 2 ½ inches from the other. Continue along with one Crimp, one Bicone, one White Heart, one Bicone and one Crimp. Position this grouping in the center of the strand. Repeat the first sequence two times and leave approximately 3 ½ inches from the end.

Step 4. Onto the third strand, string one Crimp, one Spacer and one Crimp and position the grouping 3 ½ inches from the end. Continue with one Crimp, one Bicone and one Crimp spaced approximately 2 ½ inches from the first group. Repeat this sequence one more time and end with one Crimp, one Spacer and one Crimp with 3 ½ inches from the end.

Step 5. Gather all three ends of the Leather and insert them into one Pinch End. Squeeze each prong, little by little, with Flat Nose Pliers until the strands are securely in place. Twist open a Jump Ring and slide it through the loop on the Pinch End and then through the loop on one piece of the Clasp. Repeat on the other side to complete the necklace. Enjoy!
