New Beginnings Bracelet
Gaining popularity in jewelry designs is suede and silk as a key element. I mixed both Violet Soft Suede Lace and Black Silk String twisted together with Silver Plated Thin Oval Cable Chain. Sprinkled amongst the strands are Black Glass Spacer Rings, Silver Plated Rounds and Noodles. The finishing touch to this everyday bracelet is our Silver Plated Cast Tree of Life Charm. Feel free to change up the colors and whip some up for your friends. The finished length measures approximately 8 inches, including the clasp. -Brandi, customer service

Directions:
Step 1. Cut one strand of Suede Lace and one strand of Silk String measuring approximately 6 ¾ inches each. Cut one piece of Chain measuring approximately 7 inches in length.
Step 2. Starting with the Suede Lace, string on one Glass Spacer and one Silver Round. Repeat this sequence 6 more times and add one Glass Spacer at the end. To note, I used Flat Nose Pliers to squeeze the ends of the Suede to make it easier to string the beads. Keep in mind, the Rounds will be a tight fit and the Bead Reamer also helps move the Suede through.
Step 3. String three Noodles onto the Silk String and space them evenly. The Bead Reamer helps a lot here also.
Step 4. Insert each end of the Suede Lace and Silk String into a Crimp End. The Bead Reamer helps a lot here also. Once in position, squeeze each Crimp End with Flat Nose Pliers.
Step 5. Twist open a Jump Ring and slide through each loop on the Crimp Ends and through one end of the Clasp. Twist the Jump Ring closed. Slightly twist both of the strands together. Repeat on the other side with the other piece of the Clasp.
Step 6. Twist open a Jump Ring and slide through the last link on the Chain and through both loops of the Crimp Ends. Twist the Jump Ring closed. Wrap and twist the Chain down the length of the Suede and Silk strands. Twist open a Jump Ring to attach this end the same way as above.
Step 7. Twist open a Jump Ring and slide through the loop on the Charm and through the Jump Ring attached to the Clasp. Twist the Jump Ring closed. Enjoy! |
