Stardust Snowflake Ornament
For the snowflake ornament this year, I tried to replicate the glimmer of freshly fallen snow. I used both sizes of Snowflake Forms and combined Silver Plated Stardust Rounds, Silver Lined Crystals and Pony Beads and sprinkled in Crystal Honey Preciosa Bicones. With Silver Plated Wire, I wrapped the two forms together and created a free-form loop for hanging. For a bit more interest, I tied a bow atop the loop using our Smokey Silver Silk String. Deck the halls or your tree with the addition of this elegant snowflake ornament. -Brandi, Customer Service

Directions:
Step 1. Cut a piece of Wire using Side Cutters, measuring approximately 6 inches in length. Take one 3.75 inch Snowflake Form and place it staggered on top of one 4.5 inch Snowflake Form. While holding the Snowflake Forms together, wrap the Wire around the center a few times so that you attach the Snowflake Forms together firmly and evenly. Bring the Wire to the back of the form and twist the Wire tightly together. Cut off excess Wire with Side Cutters.

Step 2. Stringing the beads: all of the longer spokes are one pattern and all of the shorter spokes are one pattern. It will be easiest to bead one spoke at a time.

Step 3. Starting with one of the longer spokes, slide three Pony Beads, one Stardust, three Pony Beads, one Bicone, three Pony Beads, one Stardust and three Pony Beads.

Step 4. With Flat Nose Pliers, bend the excess spoke 90 degrees and curl into a tight loop with Round Nose Pliers. Yes, this will be a little trying, but will surely work. If you find it too difficult to curl, just remove the last bead from the sequence. Repeat this pattern on each of the longer spokes.

Step 5. On the shorter spokes, slide four Pony Beads, one Bicone, one Silver Lined Crystal, one Bicone, three Pony Beads and one Stardust. Repeat this pattern on each remaining shorter spoke followed by step 4 on all of the shorter spokes.

Step 6. To create the free-form Wire loop, cut a piece of Wire using Side Cutters, measuring approximately 6 inches in length. Thread it through one of the loops on a longer spoke and center it so that each side is even. Create a loop that measures approximately ¾ of an inch and wrap the remaining wire back down the loop. Tie a triple bow at the top of the this loop using the Silk String. Enjoy!
