Casbah Drop Earrings
I love our vintage brass components so this week I used the Moroccan chandelier with a playful drop of chain to create this pair of earrings. The center drop is a Green Aventurine round but you could use any 8mm gemstone round you want. I love the Green Aventurine for the summer months ahead and even going into fall. –Carolyn, Owner

Directions:
Step 1. Onto a Head Pin thread one Bead Cap and one Green Aventurine Round. Form a simple loop above each Round by bending the Head Pin 90 degrees with Flat Nose Pliers and trimming the excess with Side Cutters to leave 3/8 inch behind. Before curling into a tight loop with your Round Nose pliers, slide it through one of the bottom openings of the Moroccan Chandelier.
Step 2. Cut your chain so you have a piece measuring 2 inches. Twists open one Jump Ring sliding it through the end link of the chain and then through one of the openings of the curved sides of the Chandelier, twist Jump Ring closed. Repeat this making sure the chain creates a drape hanging under the Green Aventurine Round.
Step 3. Twist open the Ear Wire sliding it through the top of the Chandelier, twist the Ear Wire closed.
Step 4. Repeat Steps 1-3 to complete the other Earring. Enjoy! |
