Frosted Mosaic Bracelet
Kelly, from our piecework department, combined a random selection of fun, colorful glass beads to create her Frosted Mosaic Bracelet. Using our 50 pack of Frosted Mix Beads, she selected her very favorites out of the bunch and connected them with our chocolately Vintage Brass Chain, cleverly using our Open Circles Bead Caps to capture the ends of the strands. Enjoy customizing this festive party bracelet with your favorites from our Frosted Bead Mix. We love multi-colored bracelets because you can wear them with anything. The finished length, including clasp, measures approximately 8 inches.

Directions:
Step 1. Onto 13 separate Eye Pins, slide 13 of your favorite beads from our Frosted Mix. Form a simple loop above each bead by bending the wire 90 degrees with Flat Nose Pliers. Trim the excess wire with Side Cutters to leave 3/8 inch behind, then curl this into a tight loop with Round Nose Pliers.
Step 2. Cut 10 eight link sections of Chain.
Step 3. Arrange your 13 Frosted Beads in three rows, one row having 5 beads and the other two rows having four beads. Lay your 10 eight link sections of Chain in-between each bead.
Step 4. To attach the Chain to the Frosted Beads, use Flat Nose Pliers to twist open the loops on the ends of the Eye Pins and slide the Chain links on. Twist loops closed. Onto the two strands that have four beads, attach an additional four Chain links to one strand and an additional eight Chain links to the other strand, twisting open the Eye Pin loops on the left end of the strands. Twist loops closed. Add additional Chain links to the right side of the strands so that each strand measures approximately 6 inches. The number of links will vary depending on the size of the beads you chose.
Step 5. Onto one Eye Pin, slide one Vintage Open Circles Bead Cap (concave side down), one small Frosted Bead and one Jump Ring. Form a simple loop by bending the wire 90 degrees with Flat Nose Pliers. Trim the excess wire with Side Cutters to leave 3/8 inch behind, then curl this into a tight loop with Round Nose Pliers. Twist open the Jump Ring and slide on the swirl end of the Swirl Clasp. Twist Jump Ring Closed.
Step 6. Twist open one Jump Ring and slide it through one of the large openings of the Vintage Open Circles Bead Cap. Before twisting the Jump Ring closed, slide on the Eye Pin loop on the left end of the Bead and Chain strand that has 5 Frosted Beads. Repeat with two more Jump Rings and the Chain ends on the left side of the two remaining strands, attaching them on every other large opening on the Bead Cap.
Step 7. Repeat Step 5, attaching the ring end of the Swirl Clasp.
Step 8. Repeat Step 6, attaching the right ends of the Bead and Chain strands to the second Bead Cap. Enjoy! |
